Butterfly Release Week - August 3rd - 9th 2008

• You must send in your butterfly coupons for the larvae the week of June 16^th-20^th (23^rd at the latest!) in order to allot time for delivery and the butterflies’ development.

• The butterflies take 3 weeks to complete and can stay in their habitat for several weeks after they’re all grown-up (of course, you must feed them!)

• The county-wide release week is August 3^rd—9^th.  ACLA will provide templates for invitations and press-releases for you to use at your library on the Youth Services wiki.

• Invite local officials, school administration, parents, families, library trustees!

• Ideally, we’ll be releasing butterflies all over the county that week which will be a great closing-ceremony for Summer Reading!  Check here and the blog for updates!
