• Recently, CLP and Beaver County Libraries hosted a multi-district workshop with Michael Sullivan - well known-guru of boys' reading behavior.  It was a fantastic workshop and much of its contents can be found on Michael's website. 
• One of my favorite authors and author websites is Jon Scieszka's site connected to his book Guys Write for Guys Read .
• This new book is fantastic! Boys and Literacy: Practical Stratagies for Librarians, Teachers and Parents by Elizabeth Knowles. It's chock-full of ideas and statistics!
• Another good recommendation isGoing with the Flow: How to Engage Boys (and Girls) in Their Literacy Learning by Michael W. Smith.
